Using Faceboook to Make Money

Is it possible to make over $25,000 in three weeks on Facebook? It certainly is. Brian Campbell did just that in May 2008, and he’s shown people how it can be done. And the techniques he uses apply just as well to other social networking sites, like MySpace, Bebo, Hi5 and LinkedIn.

You’re going to need to build up a network of contacts. Your own friends list is a good place to start. Facebook doesn’t like it if you go too fast, so stick to 20 to 30 invitations a day. You’ll find plenty of people who share your interests by searching for relevant groups and looking through their members.

When you invite someone to be your friend, Facebook allows you to send a personal message. You should definitely take advantage of this facility. Letting the person know that you share their interests makes it more likely that they will confirm your request.

You want to be in a position where other people are sending you confirmation requests. One way to do this is by making yourself visible by posting videos, photos and comments on other people’s walls. Every time you do this, all their friends get to see your posts as well. If you post good stuff, people will start asking you to be their friend.

Once you’ve built up a few hundred friends, you should start your first group. Invite all your friends to join, and ask them to invite their friends to join as well. Reward people for joining your group by giving them good quality information, in the form of articles, videos and downloads - PDF reports are great.

All the people in your groups as well as all your friends form your network of contacts. Ultimately, you want to get people to sign up for your newsletter, so that you can contact them without going through Facebook.
